I wish we could talk to bricks; they would bow their dusty heads. I wish we could write clouds; beg them to reconsider the sun. I wish there was a month for depression where people wrapped tissues in bows or small, tinfoil swans. December is a good month for depression, or February, where Valentine’s day is nestled with suicide and paper hearts. I wish I could walk forever, naked like the stars-   too bright to see. I wish time, like Icarus, would fly too close and melt.
